Rattan Shack started with a very small store on the corner of an industrial street in Miami,  FL back in 1984. The store was so small that our furniture spilled out into the front parking lot, and we had so much furniture crammed into that little building that in order to access the store in the mornings, they had to put furniture outside. When this store became too small for Rattan Shacks growth, They rented a second location several doors away. All of our newspaper advertisements were hand drawn, and people would come from miles away to purchase from us. In 1985 a third store was opened in the Kendall area of Miami. Two years later, they consolidated the three stores into one super store located just off the busy palmetto expressway in Hialeah gardens, Florida. At this location Rattan Shack has been able to display over 300 different styles of rattan and wicker furniture, and unique accessories from around the world.
Rattan Shack has been dedicated  to providing fine quality rattan and wicker furniture, at affordable prices to our customers. By direct importing our furniture from the Philippines, whose master craftsmen turn out beautifully styled, high quality merchandise, and from China, where their specialty is finely made wicker products such as bedroom and patio furniture. Because Rattan Shack imports there furniture directly from the factories, They do not carry some of the known names in rattan and wicker, however, many of their groups are produced in the same factories, and therefore we are able to offer the lowest prices on our furniture since we have cut out the middleman.
